Producepak External Data Feed & API
User guide for connecting Microsoft B.I. or any other app that uses API via HTTPS.
SECURITY: For security reasons, the API is not enabled until you request it. The API is not able to edit data, it is read only.
Connect to the Producepak API
Get your feed URL & API key
- Sign in to Producepak as an Employee Admin.
- Open Companies and open your main company record.
- Click External BI data feed.
- Copy your chosen Feed URL
- Copy is API Key (generate one if it is empty)
- Paste those details into Microsoft B.I. or your chosen app to access your Producepak data
Warning
Treat the API key like a password. Anyone with the key can read data, so please don't keep a copy of it, delete it once you connect. If it may have been shared, click Generate API key again to replace it.
Headers & table descriptions
Most responses from the Producepak API will include a description of the table and headers for each column. Contact your consultant for help.
Connect to microsoft B.I.
Most BI tools can use either an OData / Web connector or a generic HTTP / Web data source.
Typical setup 1. Create a new data source → choose OData or Web. 2. Paste the feed URL from Producepak. 3. Add HTTP header: X-Api-Key: <your-api-key> 4. You must include date filters on every request (see below). Many tools let you append these as query parameters on the URL. Example URL (required dates) https://{your-Producepak-api-host}/api/v1/external/odata/EmployeeTaskDetails?dateFrom=2026-05-01&dateTo=2026-07-30 Replace the host with the URL shown in Producepak. Replace dates with the period you need.
Employee task details feed filters
You must provide filters with every feed request:

Max data span — 92 days (about 3 months). Longer ranges are rejected.

Error codes
